New Cookery Clubs for Kids

A series of after-school food clubs have been set up to inspire Scottish children to make and eat healthy meals.

The clubs, open to children as young as ten, aims to teach them basic cooking skills, as well as understand what makes a balanced meal and what food labels mean.

The Food Standards Agency Scotland has set up the pilot project in Aberdeen, Falkirk, Perth and Kinross and Renfrewshire, for eventual roll out across Scotland.
