A Highlands food group is on the look out for working farms and smallholdings to take part in a open gate event in September and October.

The Highlands and Islands Food Network will be opening the gate to some 25 working farms, crofts and growers throughout the Highlands in the Gates Open 2007. The event will allow visitors to meet the farmer/producer and hear their story, tour the farm, taste and celebrate Highland food and feed the animals.
