Celebrity Chef Advice is Best, say Britons
23/03/2007
Britons trust the opinion of celebrity chefs more than they do government advice, according to a recent survey.
The research, carried out on behalf of IFE07, the International Food and Drink Event 2007, showed that up to 17 per cent of consumers would rather listen to chefs like Jamie Oliver than take tips from the government. More worryingly, perhaps, is the fact that 63 per cent of people said they did not listen to anyone at all when it came to advice on eating and food.
