Win a Day at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen
20/04/2007
Junior chefs are being urged to show off their creative talents in this year’s Rotary Young Chef Competition – to be in with a chance of winning a day at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen.
The award scheme sees young chefs prepare a healthy meal for two people, without expensive ingredients and, crucially, to follow the principles of a healthy diet.
Starting at a local level, with heats at individual Rotary Clubs, the winners will then go on to a district competition, a regional final and ultimately to the Great Britain and Republic of Ireland final.
Fifteen’s chef, Alberto Conti, will be on the panel and winners will get the chance to work for a day at the restaurant, as well as a trip to competition sponsors Filippo Berio’s olive groves in Lucca, Tuscany.
Interested chefs should email their contact details, before September 2007, to youngchef@ribi.org, or phone the secretariat at Rotary on 01789 765 411.
