Scottish Ale Voted Nation's Favourite
24/04/2007
A Scottish real ale has been chosen as one of the nation’s top tipples.
Caledonian Deuchars won the Scottish region in the Best of British Beer Awards this week, organised by Cask Marque, the pub beer accreditation scheme.
Drinkers around the UK were asked to vote for their favourite real ales in ten geographical regions, at polling stations inside their local pub.
All the winning brewers will be invited to an awards lunch in London next month.
