New Whisky Tour Gives Public Special Access to Distillery
10/05/2007
One of Scotland’s most famous whisky brands has opened up areas of its distillery normally closed to the public as part of a new whisky experience.
The Famous Grouse Experience, at Crieff, announced its new visitor attraction today – which it claims is the first of its type in Scotland – whereby visitors can take a peek inside the bonded warehouse.
Groups of up to 12 will be able to walk around Warehouse No. 9 at the Glenturret distillery and experience a tutored nosing and tasting. The tour forms part of a newly-opened whisky school.
