Robbie Coltrane donned his apron for a bit of spicy action at a Glasgow restaurant kitchen this month as part of his new culinary TV programme.

The actor learned how to rustle up a curry, before holding his own in the kitchen and cooking for a full house of customers, as part of a charity event at India Quay restaurant.

His new three-part series for ITV1, 'Robbie Coltrane's Incredible Britain’, is due to be transmitted later this summer, and follows him as he travels from London to Glasgow, willfully driving off the beaten track on a quest to re-discover the essence of Britishness.
