Plans for Trossachs Real Ale Festival
04/07/2007
A new festival to celebrate Scottish real ale is being planned in The Trossachs this summer.
The Scottish Real Ale Shop and the Lade Inn, in Callander, will be hosting the event, which will run from August 31 to September 7.
Festival highlights include traditional folk music, brewery talks and a brewers' dinner. The organisers are also planning to run a beer-related menu at the pub for the week.
"We plan to build this festival into one of the largest in Scotland over the next couple of years," says Fred Wilde, organiser and owner of the Scottish Real Ale Shop.
