Scottish Ales Win Silver and Bronze at Festival

Two Scottish brewers scooped awards at the Great Briitish Beer Festival today.
The Inveralmond Brewery in Perth was awarded a silver in the Strong Bitter category for its Lia Fail and the Fyne Brewery in Argyll got joint bronze in the Best Bitters section for its Piper's Gold.
Hobsons Mild from Hobsons Brewery in Shropshire was judged to be the best beer in Britain by a panel of brewers, beer writers and journalists at the Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court.
The Shropshire brewed beer was chosen as the overall winner from over fifty finalists in eight categories including beers from tiny micros to major regional brewers.
